Glenn is a founding partner of Ross ■ Rumbell and has worked as a lawyer, entrepreneur and investor in Canada’s legal and technology industries since the early 1990s. Prior to founding Ross ■ Rumbell Glenn practiced as a commercial lawyer with Smith Lyons (now Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP), served as President and CEO of Communix Corporation, a Toronto based consumer reporting and legal services company, and partner and general counsel with McLean Watson Capital Inc. a private venture capital fund managing over $140 million of investment funds.

Glenn advises clients on a broad range of matters including corporate structuring, venture capital and angel financing, shareholder agreements, technology licensing, professional services agreements, and buying and selling businesses. Though his involvement with the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners Glenn has also established a practice providing business law and regulatory advice to nutritionists and other members of the alternative health sector.

Throughout his career Glenn has been actively involved in his community, including sitting on the Professional Development Committee of the Canadian Venture Capital Association, the Principal’s Alumni Advisory Committee for University of Toronto, serving as lecturer on business law with The Toronto Business Development Centre and with Grapple Law, and secretary of the Centre Wellington branch of Rotary International. At the present time Glenn sits on the board of directors of the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (for whom he has authored two editions of “The Holistic Nutritionist’s Guide to Lawful Practice in Canada”) and is a founding member and corporate secretary for The Jam 83 Kincourt – a Toronto non-profit organization for amateur and semi-professional musicians.

Glenn has a particular interest in helping new entrepreneurs and heads up our Business Start-up Program.

Glenn graduated from the University of Toronto magna cum laude, holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
